Auckland Art Gallery: Open Late!
Primary tabs

What do you need on a cold wintry evening? A beautiful, light-filled building. Lovely music. Art. Inspiration.
All of these things you can get (and more) at the Auckland Art Gallery on a Tuesday night.
Club Manouche will be playing in the beautiful atrium from 5.20pm (they have an accordion!!) - and actor and playwright Kirk Torrance will talk about his favourite piece in the exhibition at 6pm.
If you haven't been to the Degas to Dali exhibition yet, the time is now. We went last week and it was lovely and quiet and calming after a frenetic day of being alive. It allows time for quiet contemplation. It allows time for nice thoughts to float around the interior of your head.
It really is an exhibition of international calibre, and it's in Auckland exclusively until June, when it will head back to Scotland FOREVER. We're proud to have it here, you probably are too, and we should all revel in that pride by actually going along! Yes!
